![]() I had previously rated the Safari as "Awesome". And, quite frankly, it showed during my visit there. I get the feeling they don't really care. ![]() I left a complaint through their website and received a confirmation email that stated, "Your message is being forwarded to the appropriate department at the park and we will contact you as soon as possible (definitely within seven days, but usually much sooner)." Well this is day 8 of not hearing anything back. I don't regret going, as the overall experience WITH THE ANIMALS was a great one, but if they expect people to pay that much money for these types of events, then they should be a lot more organized and treat their customers with more respect. Jackie was very pleasant, informative and apologetic (probably the only employee who was) about trying to find our way to her. However, after we finally started the tour, both our guide and the tour itself was excellent. I was very disappointed with how we were just told to wander around like lost souls in order to find our starting location and the overall customer service. ![]() I paid too much money for these tickets to be treated the way we were. Or better yet, knowledgable employees would've been ideal. Some sort of signage throughout the park would've been helpful. We were weary if this was the right information but finally, an hour after our tour was supposed to start, our guide met us there. My boyfriend and I knew this was not right, so I asked the guide on the truck and she told us to wait at the bottom of the ramp where our personal tour guide should meet us. They talked on their radios and seemed to figure out where we needed to be so the guard escorted us to the front of the general admissions line for the safari tour and just told us to have a seat on the large truck where 20 other people were sitting, then just walked away. This t-shirt situation aside, this whole experience really set the tone to the start of our day.Īfter we were forced to buy a t-shirt and put it in a locker, we spoke with the guard's supervisor about where we should go for our VIP Tour. And I honestly don't think that the animals would care what he was wearing on our PRIVATE tour through the safari. I guess I can understand that it's a family park and that his shirt might be a little sexually aggressive, but there's a flippin water park where I'm sure MANY women are walking around in their bikinis. I asked if he could simply turn it inside out but they didn't trust him and thought he could easily turn it the other way around. We were told that she could escort us to buy a new one or that we could vacate the park. His supervisor finally came and deemed his shirt inappropriate. We were now a half hour late to our tour and very annoyed already that nobody knew where to send us. He said it was inappropriate, called his supervisor, took his license and wrote down his information. ![]() As we were asking an employee where we should go for our VIP tour, a guard pulled my boyfriend aside and asked if he wore that t-shirt into the park (if you've ever seen the movie spring break, the front of his t-shirt had the four main characters in their bikinis on it). After some searching and asking a lot of clueless employees, we found our way to the entrance of the new Safari attraction. It was like the VIP Tour didn't exist and we were making stuff up. So we talked to MANY employees and asked where we should go for the VIP Safari Tour and NOBODY knew what we were talking about, nor did they know where to send us. We had no idea where guest relations was located. Our tickets instructed us to go to guest relations but, as I stated, we have not been there in years. Neither of us have been to Six Flags in many years, and the last time we were there the safari was separate from the Amusement park. I paid A LOT of money for these tickets but what's an additional $25 on top of $400+ bucks, right? We arrived to the park and in the details of our tickets, it clearly states, "As you enter the parking lot toll booth, please present your tickets to attendant - DO NOT PAY FOR PARKING." A young teenager called his manager over she said our tickets were nothing special and that we had to pay for parking. I bought 2 tickets for the VIP Safari Tour for June 6th, 2015 for my boyfriends birthday. I was contemplating to give 2 stars because of how badly our day started at Six Flags, but I don't normally complain and leave negative reviews so 3 stars was being nice.
